Hello Livermore, I am Dale Crowe, son of Kenneth Crowe, Grandson of Rowan W Crowe and Lockie Mea Atherton. I have Cousins there but have lost touch over the years. If none notice this posting I gues I'll drive out for a look around this summer. Merry Christmas to all. dc

Hi All,
Although I don't live in Livermore or in Kentucky anymore for that matter, my family roots go back over 200 years in the Livermore area. I have grandparents, great grandparents and many other members of my family buried in Oak Hill Cemetery and others buried in different cemeteries around Livermore and the adjacent areas.
I know my request may not be in keeping with the original objectives of the message but I would like to ask the board administrator to consider adding two more headings to the board. They are Genealogy and History. Perhaps this board could serve as a clearing house for information about the town and allow those of us away from the area an opportunity to share information about our families from Livermore and McLean County and share information about the history of the area.
I have some questions about the Hackett Cemetery that the former mayor had some interest in a few years ago. There are probably a few more old cemeteries around town that may be of interest to the group.
I would like to share information with anyone who has an interest in the area's history and families.
Dale, I have some Atherton's and Rowan's in my family as well, I don't have any information on those specific individuals, but the ones in my family may be relatives of these folks.
